Learning Log #5

     Nagpresent kami dun sa na delay na debate activity. Tapos ayun naging ok naman yung presentation namin dun sa debate activity. Nagkaroon kami ng make-up class tungkol sa implementing a packet filtering firewall. Packet tracer yung ginamit dun, ang saya lang kasi nagpapacket tracer din kasi kami sa DATANET e. Ang dami pa palang pwedeng gawin sa packet tracer.

     May meeting na wala si sir kaya ayun sad. Tapos ayun nga, pinagawa samin yung activity for implementing a packet filtering firewall sa packet tracer pero buti na lang by group. Nagawa naman namin kaya ayun happy.

Learning Log #4

First meeting, is yung sa PAASCU. Ito yung araw na magprepresent kami para sa debate activity. Magprepresent na dapat kami kaso kulang pala yung topic namin. Kasi yung topic namin is Piracy lang pero dapat pala yung topic is Piracy for educational purposes. Karamihan di nakapagpresent kaya nagdiscuss na lang.

Next 3 meetings, is presentation ng research paper. So ok lang kahit di pumasok kung hindi naman kayo magprepresent ng research paper. Tapos ayun napresent naman namin yung research paper naman ng maayos kaya happy.

Learning Log #3

Masaya yung mga last discussions kasi tungkol sa mga law. Masaya kasi naiinform ako tungkol sa mga law at may mga law na ngayon ko lang nalaman. Isa sa mga hindi ko makalimutan is yung
Article 247, ngayon ko lang nalaman na pwede pa lang gawin yun.

Sad lang kasi may isang meeting ulit na wala si sir, pero may binigay na activity na debate.
Yung nakuha naming topic is yung Piracy tapos Government side kami.

Learning Log #2

Ayun InfoSec ulit hihihi. Masaya naman yung mga discussion lalo na pag nagkukuwento si sir ng mga experiences niya sa mga past work niya. Tapos ang saya din ng mga slides niya kasi may mga memes hahaha. Sad lang kasi laging wala si sir.

Kailangan naming gumawa ng research paper. Buti na lang yung topic namin maganda, yung Bitcoin. Pinagawa lang muna kami ng Research Outline tapos ayun ayos naman.

Pinag-exam kami sa Cybrary para sa certificate. Kinuha kong topic is yung Mobile Device Security Fundamentals. Sobrang happy ko kasi pumasa yehey.

Learning Log #1

                                Ayun Information Systems Security, interesting kasi security. Pagsinabing security, unang bagay na pumapasok kasi sa isip ko hacking kaya interesting hahaha. Ang angas kasi pag marunong ka mang-hack. Kasi sa mga napapanood ko na movies at tv series, yung mga hackers kasi dun ang aangas. Kahit naman sa totoong buhay, ang aangas din. So ayun sana matuto kaming mang-hack hahaha. Maganda rin kasi pag alam mo yung mga bagay na ganyan(Hacking) kasi para alam mo kung paano isesecure or ipoprotect yung sarili mo.

                                First two weeks, madami naman akong nalaman. Kapag gusto mo pala sa security na field, dapat magaling ka rin pala sa Network. Tapos ayun madami rin akong nalaman na mga terminologies at mga concepts. As of now, masaya at interesting naman.

15 - There's no Place I'd Rather Be

" Write the names of five places you like or would like to visit. Why? "

     The five places I would like to visit are Boracay, Hongkong Disneyland, Japan, Dubai, UAE and the Outer space. It would really be great to actually be there and experience the beauty of the following places. Boracay is truly the Philippine’s paradise and it is the best beach in Asia. I have seen photos of Boracay on magazines, Facebook and Instagram, and I want to see Boracay in real life. I want to see the inspiring views of the white sand and the amazing clear water. I like to experience going to an island hopping tour. It is also a small tropical island where people from all over the world come to relax and have a good time. As everybody would describe Boracay, it’s a paradise!

     I would also like to visit Hongkong Disneyland. Who would not like to? There are so many things to see and do in Disneyland. I would like to see the beauty of the parade and the grand fireworks show. This is definitely worth to watch! Of course, I want to experience the excitement of the Hongkong Disney rides. A special feature is a picture with Disney characters. I feel like a child again. I fall in love with this place!

     Japan is another place I also want to visit. Tokyo is known for its gadgets, games and all things technical. I want to visit some of their temples, castles and shrines. I want to see and hopefully climb Mount Fuji, the country’s tallest mountain. I want to experience riding on Japan’s bullet train. They say that it feels more like air travel than rail travel. Hopefully, I will make it there!

     I also want to visit Dubai, a wealthy city in United Arab Emirates. The country where there is no tax. I want to see Burj Khalifa or Burj Dubai. It is not only an architectural masterpiece but also the world’s tallest hotel. Dubai has the finest luxury hotels that the world can offer. Their fountains are truly incredible just to watch them is very amazing. The desert is a beautiful part of Dubai and being able to drive into it and camp is a real luxury for people. Dubai is really a great place to visit!

     I want to visit the Outer Space. I know what a life changing experience seeing the earth from space is. To be able to offer to people from all walks of life to visit the Outer Space for the very first time is really amazing! I want to experience the wonders of weightlessness and looking out into black space and bright stars. Not only would it be lots of fun and excitement to travel on a spaceship, how awesome be to set footprint on the moon or to another planet. As of now, they remain places I like to visit. Who knows someday, I might get to visit all of them in the future. Only time can tell…
